No, these costs will not be reimbursed. Only medication prescribed by a medical professional will be reimbursed, as long as it is not for the treatment of pre-existing conditions. Medication that is unrelated to the provided medical assistance, even if prescribed, will also not be covered.
The service will be coordinated at the request of the beneficiary, but all costs must be covered by the beneficiary.
The validity period is the time frame during which the benefits indicated in the voucher can be obtained. It starts from 00:00 hours on the date of departure from the home country and ends at 23:59 hours on the date of return to the same country as indicated in the voucher.
The death, accident, or serious illness of the beneficiary or immediate family member (spouse, siblings, children, or parents), being summoned as a witness or juror by a court, damages caused by fire, theft, or natural disasters, and medical quarantine. Please refer to the General Conditions for complete information on this benefit.
It applies if the beneficiary’s flight is delayed for more than 6 consecutive hours from the originally scheduled time, and when there is no other alternative transportation available. Reimbursement will be provided up to the coverage limit for hotel expenses, meals, and communications during the waiting period.
This benefit covers the expenses incurred for the civil or criminal defense of the beneficiary in order to impute or exonerate responsibility for a traffic accident.
It is applicable when the medical team of the Assistance Services Center considers it absolutely necessary, provided that the motivation is not a pre-existing medical condition.
No, all repatriation costs must be authorized directly by the Assistance Services Center based on the patient’s medical condition.
